Favorite Walks

Walking in San Francisco is a treat. Each neighborhood has its own character and rhythm, smells and sounds. The quality of sunlight and shadows on city buildings and Victorians is magical. The fog keeps us cool and makes walking up and down hills easier. Use all your senses when you walk. What do you see? What do you hear? What do you smell? What are the textures of the City?  If you have a favorite walk, we’d like to hear about it. Please share your idea of a perfect day in San Francisco or in your city or town.

Thanks for this information. I have done this tour many times with people who come to visit us and haven’t enjoy these gardens: we are in a car. Besides going to take this tour myself, it let me reflex in my own neighborhood and from today, I started one day a week of “A DAY WITHOUT CAR.” Today was the first day and wonderful: all errands done using my 20 something years old bike. Hopefully I will increase the days/week and the carbon print will go down as well as my Glycemic Index. Together, I am finding sources of inspiration for my art.
